Thomas went back to swimming lessons this week. What an ordeal. Tuesday he just screamed and clung to me like a koala joey. Tuesday was not a good day for either of us.
Than yesterday we tried again. This time Angela and Cameron came too. Now Cameron is a water baby. LOVES it! So this made Thomas a little less scare. We tried the toodlers pool, it was just simply too cold for them (and us!) so we moved over to the heated pool. Thomas still was like a Joey. But after a while he suddenly started to relax. Even doing what mummy asked (like kicking ect.) than it dawned on me. Another mum got in with her little GIRL! Yep a Girl about 3 or 4 wearing a bikni got in the water too. She was a lot more confident in the water. So Thomas started to relax becuase he was showing off! Oi this is too early for this to be happening isn't it??
We will go back to class on tuesdays and free swim on thursday's. Not becuase it is great for Thomas. But walking around a pool for an hour or more carring a toodler is a fantastic work out for mum too!
