Overwhelmed

Thomas has been doing ok the last few days, but today when we took him to church it was a disaster. We arrived 15minuets before mass and as I drove up the street we noticed a lot of cars. Thought it just might be a batism today and throught nothing of it. Walked up the path to the side door (we park behind the church building) and it was just pure noise coming from the church, uh oh.....
Get in side, our usual area where we sit was all ready full, double uh oh. So we sit a few rows back. Well Thomas played up, he was so overwhelmed by the noises and the people. There were LOTS of people who don't normally attend mass there. It got so bad Thomas walked out side and put himself in his naughty corner. Just sat down with out being told to. He did not stay long, but you could tell he was over it.
This in it's self is a big piece of the jigsaw puzzle that is Thomas. Later on we took him to breakfast and where we normally sit was taken (must be the theme of today) so we sat down the back of the cafe away from people. He was excellent. He really enjoyed himself which ment we enjoyed breakfast as a family. This proves the last point. He is great in small intimate settings, but terrible in loud crowds of people.
